Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities scheme is run by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India. Under this scheme, all those students who have passed the 10th standard and taken admission further in any course will get the benefits. Under the CSR Project of Education & Livelihood of Kotak Group Companies, their partner organisation Kotak Education Foundation is implementing ‘Kotak Shiksha Nidhi’ – financial assistance to students, who have lost primary earning member of the family due to COVID-19, for the continuation of education.

        The CIASC 2022 has announced a total of 15 award prizes for this year’s program. Besides a certificate, the selected candidates will receive the cash awards as listed below -

      • Selection for Kotak Shiksha Nidhi:

        • The selection of eligible students for Kotak Shiksha Nidhi and the extent of assistance under Kotak Shiksha Nidhi (financial assistance for school and college fees payment) will be at the discretion of Kotak Education Foundation.
        • Kotak Education Foundation will review the Kotak Shiksha Nidhi applications based on proofs of continuation of education, related expenses from school/junior college/college as may be the case, and valid proof of the loss of parent/parents/primary earning member of the family (other than parent) due to COVID-19.
        Benefits:
        • Includes Indian national students studying in schools and colleges in India.
        • Includes school & college fees, library deposit, stationery and other continuation of education relevant expenses payable to school/college, hostel lodging & boarding expenses
        • Excludes International boards such as IGCSE, IB, etc.

        CSIR Innovation Award for School Children (CIASC) 2022

        About the Program

        CSIR Innovation Award for School Children (CIASC) 2022 is an initiative by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) for young innovative students of India below 18 years of age. The CIASC (CSIR Innovation Award for School Children) is an annual national competition to harness the creative and innovative spirit of school children. The award consists of a certificate and 15 prizes, cash prizes and up to INR 1,00,000.

        CSIR is a premier industrial R&D organization of India which mainly works towards building awareness, interest and motivation for scientific temperament and innovative spirit among school children.

About the Program

HDFC Bank Parivartan's COVID Crisis Support Scholarship Program is an initiative of HDFC Bank that aims to support the children affected by COVID crisis to continue their education. The scholarship program is meant for school students from Class 1-12 to those pursuing UG, PG and diploma courses. Under this scholarship, the students who have lost either or both of their parent(s)/earning member(s)  or whose earning family members have lost their employment (or livelihood) during the pandemic will be provided with a one-time financial assistance ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 75,000. 

HDFC Bank, India’s leading banking and financial service provider, has introduced this scholarship to help those COVID-19 affected students who are left with very little or almost no financial support to continue their education.


About the Program

Nikon Scholarship Program 2022-23 is an initiative of Nikon India Private Limited to financially support students from underprivileged sections of society to pursue photography-related courses. The scholarship is meant to help students (Class 12 passed onwards) who are enrolled in a photography-related course with a duration of 3 months or more.

Nikon India, a world leader in imaging and optics, is offering this scholarship in line with its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at empowering individuals and strengthening society. Over the years, the company has been running several initiatives focusing on promoting education including special education and employment enhancing vocational skills.

About the Program

The Cadence Scholarship program was conceptualized and implemented with the support of Cadence Design Systems Private Limited & Concern India Foundation to address the issue of retaining talented students from the less privileged section of the society in the academic cycle for better livelihood. 

Under this scholarship, the students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Pune regions will receive financial support for their key educational expenses like course fees, hostel charges, books, etc. 

Launched in 2016, the scholarship programme has benefitted a total of 333 deserving students from the regions specified. It has enabled them to pursue various degree/professional courses like, B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, Hotel Management etc. and helped them pursue their dreams.

Eligibility

  • Open for residents of Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Pune only.
  • For Undergraduate courses: Applicants must have successfully passed Class 12 with a minimum overall score of 60%. (NOTE: Candidates who are currently studying in Class 12 can also apply on the basis of their previous record.)
  • For Postgraduate courses: Applicants must have successfully completed graduation or be in the final year of their graduate program.
  • They must come from a lower-income group.

NOTE: Students who are already pursuing graduation or postgraduation courses are not eligible. 

Benefits:

Financial support for key educational expenses like course fees, hostel charges, books, and conveyance (in exceptional cases).

About the Program

Tata AIG Avanti Fellows Scholarship Program is an initiative of Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited in partnership with Avanti Fellows to financially support girl students from North-Eastern states to pursue their higher education. Under this scholarship, girl students who are pursuing undergraduate programs in medical and engineering streams at premier institutes in India will be provided with financial assistance ranging from INR 80,000 to INR 1,60,000 per academic year till the completion of their UG programs.

Launched in 2020, this scholarship program has been aiding 19 girl students and by the end of the academic year 2021-2022, the target is set to reach 100 beneficiaries. The scholarship amount covers the tuition fee, the hostel fee, the mess fee, a one-time laptop fee and other associated expenses.

Eligibility

  • Open for girl students from North-Eastern states (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim) only.
  • Applicant must be currently pursuing the first year of engineering (BE and BTech only) and medical (MBBS and BDS only) undergraduate courses from the top colleges in India (Click here to see the list of eligible colleges and universities).
  • Applicant must have passed Class 12 from any school located in North-Eastern states only in the academic year 2019-20/2020-21/2021-22.
  • Applicant must belong to SC/ST/EWS categories.
  • Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 8 lakh (Note: No income limit for SC/ST categories).
  • Children of employees of Buddy4Study, Tata AIG and Avanti Fellows are not eligible.

Benefits:

Scholarship up to INR 1,60,000 per year till the completion of UG programme.

About the Program

‘Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarships for Women Engineering Students’ is an initiative of Rolls-Royce India Pvt. Ltd. to financially support meritorious girl students in completing their engineering programme. The scholarship is aimed at helping girl students studying in the 1st/2nd/3rd year of undergraduate engineering degree programme at an AICTE recognized institution in India.

This scholarship is being offered by Rolls-Royce India as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that primarily focus on supporting and encouraging students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. The company also runs several projects to promote STEM learning programmes and skill development.

Eligibility
